For Viet Pham, MD, otolaryngology is not just a medical specialty; it is a perfect blend of science, problem-solving, and hands-on care that keeps every day exciting. Dr. Pham enjoys the diverse and unique anatomy, balance of medical management, and procedural-based endeavors in otolaryngology. But what he enjoys most is the opportunity to help patients of all ages find relief, whether it’s a child struggling with chronic ear infections or an adult seeking answers for persistent sinus issues.
Since joining The ENT & Allergy Centers of Texas, Dr. Viet Pham has been dedicated to providing expert ear, nose, and throat (ENT) care at our locations in Carrollton, Celina, Frisco, and Plano. Beyond treating symptoms, he believes in empowering patients through education by helping them understand their conditions and take an active role in their health. “I love when a patient leaves not just feeling better, but also with the knowledge and confidence to manage their health moving forward,” he shares.
Each day otolaryngology brings something new. One day, it’s a delicate ear procedure, the next, it’s helping a patient breathe more freely. And, as Dr. Pham jokes, “Let’s be honest, I get paid to pick boogers and ear wax! In all seriousness, the inherent variety with otolaryngology means it’s always a new adventure each day with new challenges, but hopefully all ends with resolving patients’ ailments one way or another.”
Outside of work, Dr. Pham has a love for music. He plays the guitar with a preference for Luke Combs’ slow songs and claims he is the worst karaoke singer ever. He’s known for making some of the best dry rub chicken wings north of Highway 380, and used to be a pretty good ultimate frisbee player. When not experimenting with flavors on the grill, you could find him on a quest for the next great restaurant, exploring different cuisines and dreaming of traveling the world to indulge in even more culinary adventures.
At home, one daily ritual remains non–negotiable: poking his sulcata tortoise, Derpie.
With a mix of skill, humor, and a genuine commitment to patient well-being, Dr. Pham brings a unique and approachable touch to ENT care. Whether performing procedures, sharing a laugh, or guiding patients to better health, he’s always ready to make a difference.
