Dr. Gretchen Champion is a board-certified otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon who provides comprehensive care for both adult and pediatric patients with ear, nose, throat, and allergy conditions.
Dr. Champion is the Co-founder of The ENT & Allergy Centers of Texas and a Partner with ENT Specialty Partners. She also serves as Medical Director of Otolaryngic Allergy and oversees CT/Radiology accreditation, reflecting her leadership in both clinical care and operations.
She earned her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where she graduated with honors and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed her residency in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at Washington University in St Louis, serving as Chief Resident and receiving multiple recognitions for excellence in teaching and clinical performance.
With more than two decades of experience, Dr. Champion treats a wide range of ENT conditions, with special interests in pediatric ENT care, sinus disease, hearing loss, tonsillitis, and allergy-related disorders. She is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, and she actively contributes to the advancement of her field as an Oral Board Examiner and Exam Council Member for national organizations.
Dr. Champion has been consistently recognized by her peers and patients for her clinical excellence and compassionate care. She has been named a “Best Doctor” in D Magazine for nearly two decades and has received multiple awards including the Compassionate Doctor Award, Patient Choice Award, and Dallas Child “Mom-Approved” distinction.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Champion previously served as Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Texas Health Presbyterian Allen and has been actively involved in physician leadership and hospital committees throughout her career.
Outside of the office, Dr. Champion enjoys running, studying the history of medicine, and spending time with her family.
